Why you should be concerned about B.R.I.C.S.
Part 3
Welcome to part 3 of, what has now become an ongoing series on, BRICS. If you don’t know what BRICS is or have never heard of it, I highly recommend going back and reading my first newsletter on it here, and my second newsletter on it here.
I have mentioned before that the countries of Bangladesh, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Uruguay have joined BRICS with Saudi Arabia looking to join. Still, I’m afraid it has gotten a little worse.
There has been a slew of applications coming in that have the potential to upset the global facial order as it currently stands.
The Risk
The risk comes mainly to the American dollar and to countries that back their own currencies with American dollars. Yes, there are a few that do. . One of the ways America is able to dominate in the world is because of our status as world reserve currency.
It’s how we are able to continue raising our debt ceiling. It’s the reason politicians act as if they could care less about the national debt. Honestly, I don’t believe many of them do. Debt has become a campaign rallying cry just as abortion and immigration have. They can’t fix it, or they lose that campaign tool.
Just like cancer will never be cured because of the damage it would do to the medical business complex, likewise with our problems, but that’s all for another newsletter.
The list that makes the difference
The United States and the western world have a ton to lose if the US Dollar falls. Honestly, the whole world will hurt but some places like America would be worse. With our debt being where it is, we would see inflation become beyond rampant. Get ready for 1 million dollar bread loaves.
But as America falls, any country that has been preparing for it, will not suffer much with their new currency sitting in the wings ready to take over. And the fact that this list of countries contains some large trading partners with the US and even host military bases for us makes this entire process even stickier and probably devastating.
Some of these countries are economic partners, some military, some are even NATO alliance members. This may burn a few of you up seeing as how America has carried NATO for a long time, it burns me up, but can you blame them for abandoning ship when the hull is hemorrhaging water?
Counties like Kazakhstan and Senegal may not affect us much Saudi Arabia, which I’ve already talked about and Iran could pose serious problems.
I’ve made you wait long enough for the list so here it is…
